While growing up, Katie’s family moved multiple times across the country having lived in New Orleans, California, Texas, and Florida. With 5 siblings and family pets joining in the journey, Katie gained a unique perspective to assist families being transferred to the Atlanta area. The challenge to balance commute time, schools, neighborhoods, and areas can be daunting. With Katie’s experience and extensive knowledge of the metro Atlanta area, she helps her clients navigate through the process with confidence.
In 2013, Katie’s husband, Doug, joined the team coming from a 33-year career in IT management and consulting. Outstanding support, extraordinary service, and marketing expertise are the hallmarks of their team. This is particularly important when clients are preparing their homes for the market. A strong and responsive vendor list is a key “value-added” resource available to listing clients. Fostering a sense of community is integral to Katie’s personal and professional worlds. Volunteering over the years in her sons’ schools, Marist Women Build Habitat for Humanity, homeowner’s association, and community causes in the area, is Katie’s way of giving back.
